In recent years, the pollution of coastal water was worsening in our country. The pollutions have great impact on our continuable environment.The Biological immobilization is a kind of new and rising technology in the field of modern biological engineering,. In the paper, immobilization was introduced. The single and mixed embedding technologies are described in detail, the latest applications of immobilized biotechnology in Nitrogen-contained wastewater treatment in SBR reactor have been introduced and summarized systemically.By single factor experiments, we have investigated the influent of different embedding conditions such as PVA gel, sodium alginate, calcium chloride concentration and crosslinking time, the diameter of gel beads. Determine the optimal embedding conditions of qy37:concentration of PVA is 10%, concentration of sodium alginate is 1%, concentration of CaCl2 is 4%, including bacteria volume is 10mL. The best embedding ratio of embedding medium PVA and additives SA is 10:1, the best embedding ratio of enhancer activated carbon and nano-materials is 5:4.And other environmental conditions such as pH, temperature, DO on nitrogen removal, to get the optimum application conditions. Determine the optimum environmental conditions:pH value is 8.0, the temperature is 30℃, DO is 1.0mg/L.In this study, tests were conducted to study the potentials of immobilized denitrifier of a strain coded as qy37 to reduce nitrate in the presence of 5 different carbon sources: lactose, sodium citrate, soluble starch, cane sugar, glucose. The results showed that: the effect of soluble starch is best.It was found that nitrogen removal rate was above 85 %;the optimal concentration of carbon sources is 8 g/L.Besides, the way of embedding carbon source is studied. The results showed that denitrification rate by embedding carbon source and bacteria together is higher than that by embedding carbon source independently, and the nitrogen removal rate was above 92%.The influence of four kind of materials (carbon nanotubes, porous ceramic, activated carbon and graphite) as immobilized vector and different methods on the effect of immobilization was studied respectively, with the denitrification effect of heterotrophic nitrifying and aerobic denitrifying bacteria strain qy37 after immobilization as examined standards.
