Before the resin was used, the impurities in the resin such as the monomer and the porogenic agent need to be removed for their influence on the property and safety of resin. The elution of resin was studied by using supercritical CO2 in this paper. The removing factors were inspected with orthogonal method and single factor method at the temperature ranging from 35 to 60℃and the pressure ranging from 8 to 15MPa.These factors include temperature in extraction kettle, pressure in extraction kettle, water, removing time, flow rate of CO2 etc. The best removing conditions of resin HZ-818 and HZ-816 were 40℃,12 MPa, 2h and resin with 30-40% water content; 35℃,10 MPa,2h and resin with 30% water content respectively. Whether the structure in the resin changed was also studied during the process of resin elution. The swelling of macro porous resin was investigated at temperature ranging from 45℃to 80℃and pressure ranging from 15 to 25 MPa.The results showed that the methylbenzene in the resin can be removed effectively and there was little changing of resin specific surface area. The simulation of removing process was also discussed in this paper, the simulation data can match experiment data well, which shows that the model can clearly describe the process. The study in this paper can supply some reference to the resin elution in industry.
