Dianchi Lake, which is rippling and wavy, is a beautiful pearl located on Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. However, in recent years, with the accelerated process of urbanization, population growth and rapid economic development, Dianchi Lake is faced with a serious pollution problem. The main reason why it is difficult to reduce serious eutrophication of Dianchi Lake is inadequate reduction on pollution loads into the lake. The study has carried out thorough research take Xin Yunliang River, which inpours the heaviest contamination into Dianchi Lake. Systematic control and research and technical exploitation are made to effectively reduce the total quantity of contamination inpour into the Lake where the point, line and area contamination features have been taken into consideration to provide integrated technique and engineering example for water quality and ecological improvement for Dianchi Lake.Xin Yunliang River is in the west of Pan Long River in the main city of Kunming. As the main channel to control flood and drain, currently, the eutrophication and pollution Xin Yunliang River are serious, and the water in the river, which belongs to inferior V, is smelly and black. The characteristics of the river are large quantities of water and low C/N ratio.Therefore, treatment effects study on river water by two-stage biological contact oxidation process and denitrification with solid carbon source technology through experiment. To truly nitrogen elimination of water eutrophication, decoloration and turbidity removal for the purpose of improve water transparency.The present article mainly deals with the study of treatment of low C/N ratio polluted river water by two-stage biological contact oxidation process and denitrification with solid carbon source technology.The start-up and influence factors of the reactor,the choic of packings and the effects of biological denitrification with solid carbon source are studied.The main conclusionsar:(1)The results of a acomparative study on treatment effects of three fillers, Aquamats, Bionicbiology and Collier,in biological contact oxidation process,show that the best effect of Aquamats treating polluted river water.The removal rate of COD and NH4+-N is65%and67.4%respectively,and the shortest time of the start-up.(2)The process starts up by the method of inoculating with activated sludge with intermittent and continuous water culture and aeration. The removal rate of ammonia and nitrate generating rate is biofilm maturation index. It can draw a conclusion that the biofilm is successfully cultivated when the removal rate of NH4+-N is higher than55%;(3) With the burdens1.8m3/d and3.6m3/d, the removals of NH3-N are83.2%and74.0%respectively, and the NH3-Ns of both effluents are around2.5mg/L. The removals of CODcr are74.1%and58.9%respectively, and the CODcr of both effluents are blow40mg/L.(4) When using a new biodegradable material PHBV as the solid carbon source for anti-digested denitrification, it is good for the removing of sewage TN, the concentration of TN is9.3mg/L, and the removal of TN is43.9%.(5) Technical and economic evaluation of the treatment process shows:at100m3/d treatment scale, one-time project investment needs RMB9.25million, and investment in sewage treatment unit is925Yuan/m3. With the similar treatment size, the investment in sewage treatment unit of this process is less than that of biological treatment process. And the operating cost of low C/N micro-polluted river water treatment is about0.54Yuan/m3.This study shows, two-stage biological contact oxidation process and denitrification with solid carbon source technology of polluted river water with organic matter, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen had better removal effects, and can meet the corresponding standard of emission and reuse,and low operating costs.Therefore,may reach the conclusion studing two-stage biological contact oxidation process and denitrification with solid carbon source technology for polluted river water is feasible.
