With the emergence of the FAE weapons, explosives heat damage as an important part of explosives comprehensive evaluation gradually become the focus of research at home and abroad.The paper theoretically analyzes the mode of explosion heating effect in air. The explosion heating to target is comprehensive results of thermal radiation from high temperature fireball and shock waves adiabatic compressed air and detonation high temperature diffusion. Several kinds of thermaobaric explosive and TNT were tested with the new heat flux microsensor, and heat flux-time relation curves were obtained, so the results show mechanism of explosion heating effect. Besides, the thermal damage efficiency of thermaobaric explosive is limited based on the guide line of heat damage.In this paper, the heating effect of double event thermaobaric explosive is investigated. In order to identify the best conditions of explosion heating, explosion heat effect is study according to analysis of second delay detonation time, different proportion, condensed-phase explosion TNT and powder TNT and so on.Finally, the classic thermal radiation model is visually transformed by VB program, and fireball diameter, duration, fireball height, heat flux, hot dose and so on are calculated. By comparing the theoretical value and average measured with heat flux microsensor, Baker thermal radiation model is modified to evaluate heat damage of explosives.
