Population and food problem is always one of the serious challenges we have ever faced. Undoubtedly, the application of pesticides has played a critical role in resolving this issue. Pesticides, including insecticides, plant growth regulators, herbicides and fungicides, have increased grain production by improving the growing environment of crops or by poisoning pests. Aroylthioureas and thiadiazoles with various biological activities, have attracted the attention of chemists and pesticide scientists.According to the rational drug dessign, biologically active groups such as1,3,4-thiadiazole and imidazole moieties are introduced to aroylthioureas synthetically, hoping to get drugs with better biological activity. Therefore, a series of aroylthioureas-containing1,3,4-thiadiazole or imidazole derivatives have been designed and synthesized. The method for preparation of these compounds is shown in Scheme1, hoping that the compounds with better biological activities and fewer side effects could be obtained. All these sixteen compounds have not been reported in the literature and their structures were confirmed by1H NMR,13C NMR, IR and MS. The synthetic route is as follow: In the similar way,we get the compounds as follow: R=(A1)H,(B1)m-CH3,...
