The market demand for the assembly process requirements change rapidly, then process design also needs innovation. At present, many enterprises are in urgent need of assembly process and3D CAD integration technology based on3D CAD, need to undertake the assembly process design. But the enterprise CAPP is based on two-dimensional CAD, on the CAPP and3D CAD integration are studied.CAPP (computer aided process planning, computer aided process planning) role is to use the computer for machining process is formulated, the blank processing into engineering drawings on the required parts. It is through to the computer input is processed the components geometry information (shape, size etc.) and information technology (materials, heat treatment, batch), by the computer automatic output parts of the process route and process content and process documentation process.Shop fabricated using two-dimensional assembly without card, stereo feeling, easy to cause the deviation. At present, most of China's large and medium-sized enterprises are using3D CAD as a design platform. Two dimensional CAPP cannot play the advantage of3D CAD, and affect the assembly efficiency, easy to cause the error, has been unable to meet the needs of enterprises. Study on3D visualization of assembly has gained widespread attention. This paper presents a method based on3D CAD visualization of assembly process planning system. The assembly simulation function and assembly process design system are combined, so as to achieve assembly process visualization. Implementation of assembly simulation is added to the assembly process planning, to the form of animation to achieve site visual assembly, so that the manual assembly may refer to three-dimensional process model and assembly process animation, thus largely eliminated the assembling process of the objection, shortening the assembly time to prepare and ensuring the assembling quality.
