Because of its excellent adhesive ability, corrosion resistance and other excellent properties, epoxy resin have been widely used in electronics, aerospace, ships, resin-based composite materials and etc. Generally speaking, there are significant links between the structure and properties of materials. In terms of the epoxy resin, choosing different kinds of curing agent and accelerating agent will lead to different properties of its cured. But even using the same curing agent and accelerating agent,if using different curing system can also cause the difference in performance.Currently, the curing process for epoxy/anhydride system always use gradual warming of curing system according to different temperature and time combination.This curing process can lead epoxy resin to achieve fully curing, but it is not the most way to efficient and saving energy.So the optimization study for the curing process of epoxy/anhydride system has important theoretical significance and practical value.This paper firstly has studied the curing kinetics of CYD-128/MeTHPA/DMP-30system and carried out a preliminary exploration of the curing process according to the theoretical knowledge. According to the theoretical data combined with the practical experience developed the curing process and take this resin system into resin casting deal with different curing process,then test the resin cured's curing degree,the glass transition temperature and mechanical properties.Finally after a comprehensive analysis,taking out the best curing process of CYD-128/MeTHPA/DMP-30system is80℃/2h+150℃/3h.The optimized curing process is of two-step warming curing,the total time is five hours,compared with the traditional curing process which is more efficient and saving energy.Furthermore,with this curing process the curing degree of the resin casting can reach96.87%,the flexural strength can get up to124MPa,the tensile strength is73.2MPa,the glass transition temperature is135.8℃.In order to reduce the curing time and lower the curing temperature furtherly,constant temperature curing process has been developed.According to the different constant temperature curing processes,the resin cured's curing degree,the glass transition temperature and mechanical properties have been tested and the best curing process has been selected as130℃/5h.According to this curing process,the sample's curing degree is97.04%,the flexural strength can get up to108MPa,the glass transition temperature is132.7℃.Finally,in order to verify the effectiveness of the two curing process,the composite materials'samples of glass fiber reinforced CYD-128/MeTHPA/DMP-30system have been developed by using hand lay-up process and the vacuum infusion process with the two best curing process.The result shows that using segmented temperature curing system is better than the constant temperature curing curing system.With the curing process of80℃/2h+150℃/3h,the samples's tensile strength is423MPa, the flexural strength can get up to524MPa,the glass transition temperature is132.4℃by using hand lay-up process,the sample's tensile strength is458MPa,the flexural strength can get up to557MPa,the glass transition temperature is133.6℃by using the vacuum infusion process.
