Recently, halogeno(cyano)cuprates have been focused on with special attention since their high luminescence and diverse frameworks. Unfortunately, up to now, rare crystalline halogeno(cyano)cuprates were developed although several synthesis strategies have been involved. In this thesis, the ionothermal synthesis was firstly utilized to prepare crystalline halogeno(cyano)cuprate materials and12ionic liquids were selected, that is,1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (EMIMBr),1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide (EMIMI),1-propyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([PMIM]Br),1-propyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide ([PMIM]I),1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([BMIM]Br),1-methyl-3-vinylimidazolium iodide ([VMIM]I),1-ethyl-3-vinylimidazolium bromide ([EVIM]Br),1-ethyl-3-vinylimidazolium iodide ([EVIM]I),1-propyl-3-vinylimidazolium iodide ([PVIM]I),1-ethyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium bromide (EMMIMBr),1-ethyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium iodide (EMMIMI) and1-propyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium iodide ([PMMIM]I). As a result,14novel halogeno(cyano)cuprate compounds were successfully prepared, which vary from0-D compound to3-D porous frameworks. The detailed molecular formula are as following:0-D2-D (1)[EMMIM]2[CuBr3](8){[VMIM]2[Cu5BrI2(CN)4]}n (2)[EMMIM]2[CuI3]3-D1-D (9){[EMIM]3[Cu6Br2(CN)7]}n (3){[EMMIM]3[Cu2I3(CN)2]}n (10){[PMIM][Cu4(CN)5]}n (4){[EVIM]2[Cu2Br3(CN)]}n (11){[PMIM]7[Cu14(CN)21]}n (5){[EVIM]6[CU6I9(CN)3]}n (12){[BMIM]3[Cu6(CN)9]}n (6){PVIM]4[Cu4I6(CN)2]}n (13){[EMMIM]3[Cu7Br2(CN)8]}n (7){[EMMIM]2[CU2I3(CN)]}n (14){[PMMIM][Cu4I(CN)4]}nX-ray single-crystal diffractions show that1and2are0-D compounds with [CuX3]2-(X=Br,I) inorganic anions. Compounds3-7exhibit the same1-D inorganic chain structure, however, different imidazolium cations lead to completely different supramolecular packing. Complex8is a2-D inorganic layer structure. Compounds9-14 all are3-D porous halogeno(cyano)cuprate inorganic anionic frameworks, which are embedded by imidazolium cations as counter ions. Compounds1-14have been characterized by X-ray powder analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, FT-IR, and solid-state photoluminescence measurements. Furthermore, the semiconductor performance and photocatalytic properties have also been investigated.
