As an integrated technology, Spray deposition-continuous extrusion can be used for resolving the defect of conventional ingot casting and the stability issue of spray deposition, which can be used for forming tube, rod, section and wire of hi-strength and low-ductility material. The atomized metal droplet deposited in the groove of wheel, directly turn into materials with a need shape by conform extrusion. The extrusion wheel is the cork base of spray deposition, as well a revolving extrusion canister. The driving force and temperature rise which in need of conform extrusion are engendered by frictional force between the wheel and deposited metal.This task started from the problem of integrating two techniques that spray deposition and conform extrusion, and toke measures in theoretic and technics. The preparatory testing of spray deposition-continuous extrusion by using spray deposition and stream pattern controlling device had been proceeded. Aiming at the problem that spray deposition and continuous extrusion technology requires deposition of alloys within the limited range, conducted the spray deposition experiments by adjusting parameters. Then the metallographic analysis of ingot which have been sprayed by used different form of pulverization implement and honeycomb duct, also the different degree of overheating, atomization pressure were carried through. Finally, the structure which is compact isometric crystal with fine pore was achieved.When the parameters of spray deposition and stream pattern controlling were fixed, the reforming work of previous conform extrusion press and related equipments were conducted. First of all, changed the tangential extrusion press into radial pattern, it was need to design and manufacture the shoe, die impression and mold over again, and adjust the position of battening device, compaction wheel, and so on. Then the calculation of extrusion force, the distributing of extrusion deformation zone, twisting moment and driving power were conducted. In succession, the supply system of atomization gas and dynamic system, and established the operating face which is used to install the interaction heating furnace were reformed. Finally, the equipment and operating face of spray deposition-continuous extrusion was accomplished.Then the spray deposition-continuous extrusion experiment on account of two patterns such as positive rotation and reversal, spray distance, atomization pressure, extrusion clearance, the rotary speed of extrusion wheel was processed. In the process, some engineering problems have been resolved, such as apply aluminum to bottom of sheave, heating die impression and mold, compaction device work, the matching of deposition rate and conform extrusion speed,and so on. Finally, the microscopic analysis, rigidity testing, and component analysis by chemical approach of the round bar which made by Spray deposition-continuous extrusion was conducted, which have made a contribution to the development of spray deposition-continuous extrusion technology.
