The Activated Sludge Models developed by the International Water Association has been widely applied in many developed countries, and obtained some achievements. The Activated Sludge Models offer assistances for design, operation and optimization of biological wastewater treatment processes. For an accurate simulation of the activated sludge treatment processes, accurate basic data are needed, such as model components and parameters. The research of the model components and parameters in different areas has become a hindrance to research and application of ASMS in china in the context that the model software can be immediately bought from overseas or bought from research achievements of universities. The paper conducts sensitivity analysis to components of the inflow based on A2/O wastewater treatment craft. The results shows that ammonia, nitrate and total nitrogen in effluent are most sensitive to the component SNH4, effluent COD is mainly influenced by SI, phosphate and total phosphorus in effluent are most sensitive to component SPO4-This paper analyses the inflow water quality characteristics of the biological treatment system of Longwangzui WWTP in Wuhan. The results indicates that the value of SI is stable, and the correlation of SI and CODT is weak, so it is better to use the average SI9.91mg/L as the standard; The correlation of Ss and CODf is strong, so it is more accurate to estimate Ss through linear formula Ss=0.96CODf-8.09; The correlation of XS, XH and CODT is strong, so they could be estimated through the average XS/CODT48.23%and XH/CODT12.86%; The value of XAUT is very low and can be ignored; The value of XI could be obtained through material balance. The inlet total nitrogen is mainly formed as reduced nitrogen, and the average of SNH4/TN and SNO3/TN are63.85%and2.11%, and the value of SNO2is too small to detect. Most of the total phosphorus is in the state of particles, and most of the dissolved total phosphorus is phosphates. The average PO43-/TP is36.12%. The average of inlet alkalinity is4.63mmol/L(HCO3-).Then the paper conducts sensitivity analysis to model parameters. The results show that the most sensitive stoichiometric parameters are YH and YA, and the value of YH, YA are respectively0.687,0.24; And the most sensitive kinetic parameters are μ AUT, bH, μ H, and the results show that the value of bh, μ H and μ AUT at20℃are respectively0.45d-1,5.48d-1and0.88d-1. Influence factors analysis shows that the value of bH has relationship with reaction temperature; The value of μ H is influenced by temperature, matrix and F/M; Temperature, starting sludge concentration and ammonia nitrogen concentration all have great impact on the value of μ AUT. The results of the model parameters are close to the IWA recommended values, but they still have some differences, and measuring these parameters can offer help to application for ASM2D model in wuhan waste water treatment plant.
