Since its discovery, Quantum dots (QDs) have been attracted many interests.It is a new method in the field of life science.and then It has strong electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) intensity. and then The high-quality fluorescence. So In the analysis and detection of living matter, the diagnoses and treatment of disease, all these lie largely on the application of new. However, DNA is very important for Organism. Electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) is an analytical method combined electrochemistry with chemiluminescence. This technology has been extensively used in many domains. Based on the current developments of NCs ECL and biosensor. The major contents were described as follows:1.Synthesis of water-soluble CdSeTe@CdS core-shell QDsNew water-soluble CdSeTe@CdS core-shell quantum dots (QDs) had a core/shell structure consisting of CdSeTe coreCdS shell. and then The QDs causes a red-shift and imparts both excellent photostability and favorable biocompatibility. In addition,the CdSeTe@CdS exihibit strong electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) intensity. and then The high-quality fluorescence and ECL emission make them as a promising reagent used in the fabrication of biosensors.2The detection of Hg2+was developed by QDs ECL technique.A novel biosensor for the detection of Hg2+was developed by QDs ECL technique. The probe DNAi was first immobilized onto the Au electrode through Au-S bond. MCH was used to block the residual active point of the electrode. Carboxyl modified QDs were bound to the DNA2via the EDC/NHS reaction. Target DNA2was hybridized with the DNAi via the Watson-Crick base-pairing principle and the formation of thymine-Hg2+-thymine, and then Target DNA3was hybridized with the DNA1via the Watson-Crick base-pairing principle. Streptavidin modified HRP (avidin-HRP) were bound to probe DNA3via the biotin-avidin-system. The whole process was characterized by EIS and CV.. ECL intensity of the biosensor increased with the increase of Hg2+concentration in the range of10-11-10-6M. In addition, the biosensor exhibited the good stability and selectivity toward the target analyte.Figure [17] table[2] reference [92]...
