The distribution of remaining oil is the important parameter of evaluating development effect andelecting measures to improve oil recovery. So, in recent years, various measures to test distribution ofremaining oil have been studied by many petroleum scientists, and resistivity method with its lager testrange, high precision and low cost has been currently used. But it also exists some problems andinsufficiency in the application process, such as wettability of electrode materials, the distance of positiveand negative electrode and the distance between two pairs of electrodes. Aiming at the above problems, taking electric conductivity and wettability as the evaluation indicator, the electrode material selection andthe modification methods of wettability were studied. What is more, the electrodes arrangement, reservoirwater salinity and ion composition were studied to influence results of test. On this basis,3D physicalmodeling on the influence of the way to saturate oil, the distribution of Remaining Oil was studied after S/Pcompound flooding without alkali. The results showed that, the copper material as matrix material platednickel-phosphorus by the electroless plating method, which was not only good conductivity from theelectrode, but also it showed neutrality. It reduced error by avoiding seizing oil or water on the surface ofelectrodes. The smaller the distance between positive and negative electrode was, the higher the salinitywas, the higher the temperature was, the higher the permeability was, the smaller the Resistance value was.In addition, the smaller the space of the pairs of electrodes was, the more the numbers were, themore accurate the result of test was. For heterogeneity reservoir, the better the mobility control ability of oildisplacement agent was, the lower the remaining oil saturation of the low and middle permeability layerwas. Compared to polymer flooding, the effect of S/P compound flooding was better. After chemicalflooding, remaining oil greatly distributed in the low and middle permeability layer from the Vertical aspect, remaining oil greatly distributed in both sides far away from the mainstream line from the horizontalaspect.
