| The concept of virtual water combine with agricultural science and economics idea, emphasizing water as a commodity most of the resources necessary for the production elements, and ultimately most of the condensed form of virtual water in the product. Quantitative measurement of the water footprint reveals the true human consumption of water resources situation. "The concept of virtual water" and "water footprint" of the proposed water resource managers can provide a new perspective, to make up for the cost of traditional methods and technical issues in the defect. Therefore, to study the virtual water and water footprint can be a security strategy to build water system an effective tool. This dissertation is research on the Haihe River Basin-a serious shortage of water resources in North China for example, based on the domestic and foreign-related reserch, taking into account the sustainable development of water resources and economic context, accounting and analysis the status of water resources in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region that Core position in social and economic development on the Haihe basin, in order to find suitable water resources of the region's water security measures.First, select the sixteen consumer production of products to estimates Product virtual water and virtual water consumption of urban and rural residents from 2004 to 2008, on this basis accounting out water footprint in beijing-tianjin-hebei region. The results showed that:①From 2004 to 2008 ,production of products in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei the overall volume of virtual water first increased and then decreased showing a change in trend, but decreased marginally.Production of products is 1874.67×10~8m~3 in 2008.②Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei the virtual water consumption from 549.63×10~8m~3 in 2004 up to 563.85×10~8m~3 in 2008, Per capita virtual water consumption level, urban areas higher than in rural areas .While the average annual water resources of three cities was only 173.2×10~8m~3, the three provinces of the product virtual water and virtual water consumption was far beyond its average annual water resources.③Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei three provinces from 2004 to 2008, in the five years, except in 2007 reduced the total water footprint, the three provinces of the water footprint was increasing year by year the overall total, from 594.81×10~8m~3 in 2004 up to 614.16×10~8m~3 in 2008. The composition of the water footprint, the residents of water consumption is the product form the main body of water footprint, but only a small part of the physical water consumption, the study area reflects the value of virtual water. And then, use ImPACT model to build the relationship between water use and consumption patterns of residents in the region, human activities on water resource systems to measure the environmental impact of the pressure, the results show that: the current population and affluence virtual water consumption are the two main driving factors in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the level of population and economic growth will lead to increased consumption of water resources, sustainable utilization of water resources to consider, should control the population growth rate, improve water use efficiency, reduce environmental stress.By analyzing the environment (water footprint) Kuznets curve, the relationship between water footprint and economic development, the results show that the water footprint in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and there is no environmental Kuznets curve characteristics. Finally, based on water use in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region present situation of the region's water resources for strategic measures to address water scarcity and water resources of the region's sustainable development strategy of choice. |
