| With the acceleration of urbanization, the urban and ecological problems brought by cities are increasingly serious in this rapid development provess. The city residents are thirsty for nature, the desire for more green space become increasingly strong. Street greenbelt, as an important part of urban green space, located throughout the city, with advantages of space-saving, less investment and easy for constructing, landscape design of city street greenbelts plays an essential role for townscape building as well as a harmony and friendly city space creating. However, many street greenbelts are designed unreasonably, plus poor management and maintenance, which led to low utilization rate and huge waste. Therefore, doing research for the landscape design of urban street greenbelts has very practical significance to improving quality of human's living environment and exploring how to meet people's needs better through design.This paper focused on exploring landscape design of urban street greenbelts. From the basic definition of street greenbelts and landscape design, it summarized relative theory and practice both at home and abroad, and analyzed the inner meaning of landscape design of street greenbelts especially from perspectives of humanity, nature, site and culture guided by its function, feature, form and existing style. It indicated that landscape design for modern city should be "people-centered", based on all of the human needs, and emphasize on ecologization and siting, on the basis of the above study, this paper analyzed deeply and designed elaborately to the elements of landscape for urban street greenbelts, and conducted a survey with existing street greenbelts in city of Xingping, analyzed the pros and cons, then to provide a reference for landscape design of the street greenbelts at east entrance for city of Xingping, try hard to create a street greenbelt landscape with close relationship with people and full of vatality, and to provide a reasonable theoretical direction for the future landscape design of the street greenbelts. |
