As a kind of anti-solid target technology, the Explosively Formed Projectile (EFP) plays an important role in the terminal sensitive projectile weapon. The EFP has quickly velocity changes, often accompanying with shape change. It's very important for us to research the velocity and morphology change of EFP in their movements, because of the velocity changes and the shape change which EFP has. These tests were often carried out under the hash environment, especially in the test of high-speed flying projectile or deformation projectile, there were so many interference factors such as firelight, smoke dust, explosion and so on. Therefore, the study of the morphology test theory and technique which were high speed, non-contact, large effective target area and anti-interference could be provide necessary test theory for weapon developments.The following aspects of this paper were proposed:at first, the theories, testing method, characteristics and composition of the EFP were introduced in this paper; second, we had been researched the molding process of EFP by using the LS-DYNA of ANASYS simulation software; third, the EFP molding process test system and the velocity measuring system were described in detail; at last, we also had do some experiment to verify the system's feasibility, analyze and solute these problems which we meet.It was a major test instrument for us to use the uniform laser screen in the test of the EFP molding process. The flux will change when the EFP get through the target, So we can analysis the molding process of EFP by test the flux. In this article, multiple of uniform laser screens were used to research the molding process of EFP, it had been proved that this system could test the warhead molding process of EFP whose diameter is more than 200mm. Meanwhile, we had decided to use the screen off target to test the speed of EFP after several experiment. Using the uniform laser screen and the screen off target to research the EFP warhead, we can access the main parameters, and at the same time, we can get the technical support to test the performance of EFP warhead.
