The void beneath slab for Cement Concrete Pavement seriously affects the service life and the riding quality of Cement Concrete Pavement, and increases the later period of the maintenance costs and difficulty. Therefore, it is an important theoretical and practical significance for study on the detection technology of the void beneath slab for Cement Concrete Pavement. This paper deeply researches the detection technology of the void beneath slab for Cement Concrete Pavement based on Ground Penetrating Radar, detailedly introduces the detection steps of the void beneath slab for Cement Concrete Pavement using Ground Penetrating Radar, presents the detection parameters of Ground Penetrating Radar, and proposes performance evaluation method of Ground Penetrating Radar using in highway. The purpose of the study is to provide the theoretical basis for reconstruction and extension projects and daily maintenance and repair, and for the application of engineering and scientific research. In this paper, relying on the rounding Cement Concrete Pavement in LiuBa, Hanzhong city, the grouting technology and construction technology of the void beneath slab for Cement Concrete Pavement is summed up, and the grouting effect using Ground Penetrating Radar is verified. Through the engineering example, it is proved that the application of Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR) for the void beneath slab of Cement Concrete Pavement is feasible, and is able to provide high efficiency and fast detection method for monitoring the quality of highway construction and evaluation of preventive conservation. In the end, all studied conclusion can provide the reference for the maintenance and repair of cement concrete pavement.
