With the high speed development of the society, Photovoltaic technology arises with the shortage of the traditional energy, which may bring about so much environment crisis. It can be concluded that the new energy technologies, especially PV technology will take place of the traditional resource energy little by little in next several decades. At present, PV is mostly used in Stand-alone PV systems and Grid-connected PV systems.Firstly this thesis makes an overall research on PV and its key technology, compares the development of PV in and abroad, after that comes a research on how temperature and luminous intensity influence theⅠ-Ⅴquality of photovoltaic array made of different materials. At last, a household Grid-connected PV system is researched and designed in details. The more this thesis focuses on is as follows:1. The PV technology development in and abroad is summarized in short. A presentation is made, which is about the operating principle of the PN junction of the semiconductor, as well as the Photovoltaic Effect.2. How temperature and luminous intensity influence the I-V quality of photovoltaic array made of different materials is researched. And this provide a way how to choose the material to make up the photovoltaic array.3. Through a research on the pre-existing mathematical model of the photovoltaic array, this thesis actualize a new mathematical model with MPPT before proving its MPPT quality through a simulation experiment in Matlab. This model improves the performance of the photovoltaic array.4. A design of household Grid-connected PV system is made after a entire research on the system. Then this thesis improves its topological structure and control structure through the analysis of traditional system. With technology of grid voltage feed-forward and PV grid current repetitive control, the whole system makes better performance. In the end of the 4th chapter comes the analysis the result after the simulation experiment in Matlab to prove that with the technology of grid voltage feed-forward and PV grid current repetitive control, the voltage of the power grid is obviously of better quality than that only with P control technology when it is influenced by periodic disturbance.
