Wind power is the fastest growing new energy because of it's special features, just like friendly environment, developed technology, highly reliability, less cost and significant benefit of scale. There are two main ways of wind farm's integration: one is connect to the distribution network as Distributed Generation, the other is large-scale wind farm connect to the transmission network concentrated. This paper mainly study on the plan of transmission side when wind farm connect to transmission network by the mode of large-scale, concentrated development, long-distance, high-voltage. Most wind-rich regions are far from load centers, the framework nearby the access point often very weak, when the ratio of installed capacity of wind power is large, with the features of wind power, such as randomness,intermittent and anti-peaking etc, the system operation will encounter many problems, The integration of wind power generators in power system poses some challenges, such as the configuration of reserve capacity, constraint of main transmission line's transmission capacity,system's voltage level and reactive compensation capacity.In this paper, an optimization & sensitivity method is used to identify the vulnerable area of the transmission system with large-scale wind integration, obtain the plan schemes of transmission side, proposed a planning optimal objective of maximum network equilibrium entropy, use the sensitivity method find the plan scheme of system's more equilibrium when large-scale wind farm integration, then compare to the reliability and economic of plan scheme obtained from the objective of operation cost minimum. A modified version of the IEEE57-bus system is used as the test, the result of simulation shows that: network equilibrium entropy is an index to evaluate the reliability of the network, just like traditional reliability indices like EENS ,based on Monte Carlo simulation. Because of the convenient calculation, we can use network equilibrium entropy as an optimal objective in nonlinear planning of transmission network, find the more reliability plan scheme when large-scale wind farm integration.
