| Nowadays, mechanical design is more convenient and efficiency by the development of computer technology. Mechanical designer can accomplish the mechanical mission excellently by computer technology. Almost all of the enterprises and countries pay more attention to the advanced design technology in the time of that science and technology is the first productivity. They pursue the independent innovation without a break and try to shorten the cycle of designing a new product. It is not only the key factor that will make the enterprise obtain advantages in the fierce market competition, but also the main force that will make a country strong.In this thesis, advanced optimization design technology is used to establish mathematical model. The optimization target of this model is minimum volume of speed changing box. First, determining the mathematical relationship of each variable, the boundary dimensions and performance requirements, and other constraints that needed to control. Then calculate the optimal value by compound optimal method. Using Visual Basic 2005 software as optimization platform to calculate minimum volume of the speed changing box by compiling optimal process, then the design variable value under the case of minimum volume can be obtained.In order to display 3D graphics of speed changing box directly, and create a series of similar structural features by changing parameters of speed changing box parts quickly, this thesis uses the Pro/E for assembling and simulating, and fully utilizes the parametric modeling technique to parameterize the parts of speed changing box in Pro/E.This thesis will combine the optimized parameter values of Visual Basic 2005 and the simulation data of Pro/E. In order to simplify the simulation process and shorten the assembly time, Pro/E will be developed by VB API function which provided by the PTC company with asynchronous development model to add custom menu and specific functions in the Pro/E software menu interface.By VB and Pro/E soft, the following research has been done:1. Analyzing the current situation and development of mechanical optimization design and simulation, determining research programs and technology route.2. Establishing the optimization model, determining independent variables, constraints and objective function of optimization design, developing optimal search plan aiming for the minimum volume reducer, with the method of researching the design parameters for helical gear reducer.3. Using Visual Basic 2005 as a tool to develop human-computer interface and program, translating the mathematical model into a programming language, searching for simple recycling program in the procedure to accurate convergence algorithm, and developing reasonable operation of prompt and practical and user interface.4. A lot of 3D basic models of reducer parts is drew with relationship and local parameters by Pro/E software. Then the reducer parts are assembly by simulation.5. In order to add a new menu in Pro/E software to change the parameters of reducer parts and restrain assembly, and by clicking a menu to reduce some steps when assembly simulation, program to develop Pro/E software will design with VB API function. |
