Hybrid electric vehicle was born in the condition of energy and environment crisis. There are sveral hybrid forms. For reducing the fuel consumption, control strategies of an ultra-capacitor hybrid car are researched and software of hybrid control unit is designed in the thesis.By the test of emission object under different fuel injection speed and engine temperature, the ralationship between fuel injection speed and emission in the start process is researched. The rearch show that high fuel injection speed can increase the emission of start process. By canceling the fast fuel film and using ISG motor compensate the torque instead, emission and tractive performance are improved in accelerating condition. Energy recovery and emission control strategies in sliding condition regenerating braking condition are researched and established.Softwre and hardware requirement are analyzed based on freescale chip MC9S12DP512. Integrated development invironment Codewarrior is introduced briefly. It is discribed particularly that the design flow of underlying and application software. Underlying sotware consists of real-time interruption, data input and output, data pretreatment, CAN module and Flash operation. There are hybrid mode and tradition mode in the application software. It is acquired on rotating drum bench test in NEDC that vehicle state data of hybrid mode and fuel consumption, at the same time emission data of both hybrid and tradition mode is also collected. The data shows that the prototype has hybrid functions designed. Running on hybrid mode can reduce 4% fuel consumption per hundred kilometer, but HC and CO in the emission are more than tradition mode.
