With the energy crisis, deterioration of the environment and the growing demand of sustainable development, the development and utilization of renewable energy is an important strategic task. Solar resource is abundant, regenerative, non-pollution and widely distributed. Therefore, the solar photovoltaic power generation becomes the main form of the new energy exploitation. The PV inverter is the core of the PV system, and its efficiency and reliability largely affects the performance of the whole system. A novel Boost AC module PV inverter is proposed in this paper. The hardware system is based on DSP and IPM which has good performance. The main contents include:The paper bases the research on the evolution, development trend, topology, control method and the application field of PV inverter in the recent years, then proposes a novel Boost AC module PV inverter topology. This paper describes the principle of the Boost inverter, working mode, the small signal model and the Analysis of stability.This PV topology can generate an ac output voltage larger or lower than the input, which has more compact and efficient.This paper presents the study of Boost inverter SPWM control algorithm in PV system. After analyzing the Sliding Mode Control, we adopt a new method which achieves both current and voltage feedback loop control in standalone mode. In grid-connected mode, the direct current control strategy with feed-forward compensation is used to maintain unity power factor output. MATLAB/Simulink simulation verified these algorithms.The paper generates the precise mathematics model for solar array. MPPT of PV array is realized by applying incremental conductance algorithm. The parallel connection of the MPPT for PV Stand-Alone Applications is used to increase the system efficiency. Simulation results show its effectiveness.Finally hardware and software system based on the DSP digital control is designed. The hardware design is based on TMS320F28335and IPM PM50CLA120. The software system including the main system program, the interrupt service program and the SPLL program is introduced by Flow chart.
