Rapid development of economic society led to the rapid increase in the total electricity demand, the environmental issues caused by energy consumption are becoming increasingly prominent. In order to deal with severe challenges to electric power industry in the new situation, the upsurge in research of smart grid is sweeping the world. Interaction between power supply and demand is a research direction of smart grid, aims to redefine the customer's identity to make simple consumers participate in electric power production and optimized allocation of power resources, help balance supply and demand and improve energy efficiency. The paper aims at the subject and combined with advanced measuring system and J2EE development platform, studying on electricity consumption of smart grid.This paper firstly analyzes the interactive features of the distribution network, through the introduction of advanced metering infrastructure, demand response and distributed generation depicted a new business model of distribution network and its technical features, also interprets the way and connotation of interaction between power grid and customers.Then, this paper introduces three-layer structure of the mainstream enterprise application development platform, MVC design patterns and visualization technology.On the basis of explored the two-way interactive model, intelligent electricity consumption-related technologies and J2EE development platform, put forward design concept and overall functional orientation of an interactive intelligent power consumption management system for ordinary residents, which physical and logical architecture are also described in detail. At the same time, the paper discusses the function setting of the field devices related about interactive intelligent power consumption management system, analyze and compare the way of relevant communicate implementation.At last, design and realize the main station software system based on J2EE platform, from support of DR, enhance user experience, improved service quality and other aspects to consider, design the function of software system and interactive business process based on DR. Constructing three-layer browser/server architecture based on J2EE, realize the system interface and visualization of user's energy consumption data by using Apache Tomcat as Web application server in MyEclipse platform.Interactive intelligent power consumption management system is an integrated system can provide electricity information query, home network management and other functions. Because J2EE framework and MVC design patterns are adopted, main station software with good portability, is also easy to maintain and extend. In addition, the system function is closer to the public's real life, graphical display methods can also made customers deepen the understanding of information.
