As an important supplement for system power, Distributed Generation(DG) could interconnect with distribution network depend on different interface, and it could play an important role in some aspects, such as postponed or saving investment into distribution network, cut down power loss and improving voltage level. However, access may also have influence on distribution network planning, power quality, relay protection, power loss and so on. This paper analyzed and studied planning of DG interconnecting with distribution network from the view of improving voltage distribution and reducing power loss.First, a simple and effective improved back/forward sweep distribution load flow algorithm is proposed. According to distribution network characteristics, the algorithm constructed comparison vector and node incidence matrix which could reflect distribution network topology structure depending on, and decided the order of node and branch calculation depending on comparison node incidence matrix with comparison vector. There is on need to analyze network structure, and it is easier than traditional method. Results of calculation examples show that the proposed method is correct and effective.Second, According to minimize of power loss and voltage deviation, a multi-objective optimization model is built and the multi-objective function is normalized with adaptive weight. And some binding conditions are proposed. Genetic algorithm is compared with ant colony algorithm and particle swarm algorithm. And genetic algorithm was used and improved. At last, the impact on power loss is analyzed, as single DG access distribution network. And then studied planning of DG interconnecting into distribution network, arid on the basis of improved adaptive genetic algorithm key programs is analyzed. The method on planning of DG interconnect into distribution network is verified with two calculation examples. The results of calculation examples show that power loss and voltage distribution is better than before. This method is useful and instructive on planning of DG interconnect into distribution network.
