With the accelerated pace of industrialization and rapid economic development in our country, the power production sector that provide power service to industrialization and the national economic development is facing unprecedented challenges. Under the premise of energy consercation and building harmonious society which are strongly advocated by our country, in today's tight energy supply, thermal power plants using coal as raw materials urgently need to improve the efficiency and reduce the coal consumption. While meeting power demands, the target of emission reduction should not be forgoten. Therefore, this paper would make a series of researches on combustion optimization of thermal power plant boilers.Making the reheat steam temperature in normal range has an important significance for improving the cycle thermal efficiency and the security of the units. So, it's particularly important to deeply research situations of abnormal heat absorption of the reheater. Reheater absorber model is used to make mechanism analysis, and the reheater absorber Simulink simulation model is created by MATLAB Simulink in the simulation environment. Through the simulation model, the endothermic process of the reheater is detailedly analyzed. In the simulation model analysis and debugging process, in the same load conditions, the excess air ratio, reheater gas inlet temperature and composition are changed one by one, the results show that the reheater heat absorption increases when the excess air ratio or reheater gas inlet temperature increases, and it reduces when the gas composition increases. In different load conditions, three variables have different influences on the reheater, which, under high load conditions the influence is significant, and low load is minimal. Affected by the load, the reheater absorber prone to the phenomenon of high when the units is in the high load and low when the units is in the low load. Through the analysis of reasons for the reheater abnormal heat absorption, some appropriate adjustment measures can be found.In summary, the research results of this paper show that the method of using simulation to analyze the reasons for the reheater abnormal heat absorption is feasible. This method is alse replicable, can provide some experiment evidence to thermal power plant boilers.
