In the power plant, chemical work is one of important part about safety and economy . Besides suitable boiler supply water, feed water treatment technology and water treatment processes, we must know well about the physical and chemical engineering work of the boiler, understand the reason of corrosion,slag ,deposit of salt and steam pollution of the thermodynamics equipment in order to adjust the operating conditioning of drum-type boiler for the safty and economy. In this study we combine theoretical research of phosphate treatment,caustic treatment and all-volatile treatment with apractical experiment in power plant to find the appropriate operation conditioning according to the working condition of power plant and transform into it. The slag problem will no longer exist during the evaporation when transition done,and it also will reduce the corrsion damage on boiler tube and the deposit of salt in turbine and superheater.The work will play a role in ensuring the safety and economy of the boiler.The advantages, disadvantages and application conditions of phosphate treatment,caustic treatment and all-volatile treatment are studied in this paper,we summarize the method of selecting the suitable operating conditioning of drum-type boiler and the method of operating conditioning transition according technical characteristics and demands of three kinds of operating conditioning.In this study,we analyse the problem of Wangtan power plant,Tuoketuo power plant and Lvsi power plant fount during operation and perform maintenance,select the suitable operating conditioning based on the characteristic of power plant for safty and introduce work process of transition.We calculate the benefits of transition.The result proved the transition is scientific and necessary.
