Metal detection devices often encounter in daily life, especially in the production process, for example:mill run,paper making,tragacanth industries and so on. Because the material is often mixed with metal which lead to equipment damage, affecting the normal production. Metal detection device can solve the above problems.The intelligent metal detection device which studied in this paper is mainly applied in the tobacco industry assembly lines of on-line detection, timely and accurate testing and eliminate metallic impurity, ensure production safety and orderly, improve the production efficiency. This paper mainly studies the following several aspects of content:1. Analyzed the antenna model of metal detection probe. By using the relevant knowledge about Picasso biot-savart law, firstly the magnetic field distributions of unilateral electricity wires of metal rectangular launched detector coils of are calculated, then the magnetic field distributions of electricity wires of a group of edge are calculated. Then the analogical principle and superposition principle are used, and the total magnetic field distributions of the rectangular launch coil are worked out. Then electromagnetic induction law is used, and the mathematical model of induction emf is calculated which is produced by the rectangular receive coil influencing a conductive wire edge of launched metal detector coil, then the principle that the rectangular receive coil induction emf is produced is understand.2. Designed the automatic monitoring and adjusting method of the parameters about the probe antenna. According to the measurement requirements of intelligent metal detector probe, a basic hardware interface circuit is established, and the analysis of system related parameters are implemented by using the software programming system, including the distribution parameters of the transmission channel and receiving channel, resonant parameters, power and bandwidth, and so on. Thus the parameter measurement and adjustment during static are implemented, and the technical indicators of monitoring and control system during dynamic are implemented.Experiment shows that this design system can well implemented the function of automatic metal detection and eliminate, it is easy to operate, and can detect diameter of 1mm steel ball. This system can be used for other slightly modified industry production, improve the production efficiency and product quality.
