Sheet-pile retaining structures with a rigid load-relieving component is complex structure composed by unloading caps, former wall and rear piles etc, which is a common type of new structure used widely in port engineering and retaining structure on the soft soil foundation in waterway engineering. But sheet-pile retaining structures with a rigid load-relieving component connect the front wall and rear piles into the whole through the unloading caps, resulting in the complex interaction with each other, the factors of stress deformation about this construct is more complicated than the separated structure. It is short of comprehensive research and summarize on the design of this structure about loading mechanism, working principles and calculation methods at present.This paper based on the general design principles which summarized of unloading terminal-type sheet pile wall in the port structure in recent years, combining with two-water power plant in Xinhui Co, makes a thorough analysis research by three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation method to analysis the wharf stability and mechanical characteristics of the unloading terminal-type sheet pile wall. Meanwhile, considered the influence to the long-term deformation of pile foundation under soil creep. The major work and conclusions in this paper are as follows:(1) In order to reach the conclusion of the stress and deformation characteristics between before and after piles under the conditions of different piles row distance,back row pile spacing and excavation depth, and to do a deep study on the internal force distribution of before and after piles under unloading cap, this paper considered the pile-soil interaction which based on the finite element method,so as to provide basis for related design of the specific projects.(2) Raised design proposals for the overall unloading piles Full straight row of pile spacing, pile spacing and the excavation depth of forefront .(3) By analysis evolution of the phenomenon of soft soil and the constitutive model,smulation Long-term deformation of the Wharf Structure in the process of using under soil creep,this paper shows that the deformation of soil with a significant time effect, and it has a very significant influence on long-term deformation of the pile. Over time, its horizontal deformation of the pile increased with the soil creep increased , the later deformation of pile foundation in the proportion of the total deformation is also growing, and the long-term deformation had a characteristics which was long duration and large deformation, that would caused great harm for the structure.
