With the continuous advance of western development and the increasing growing of state highway network,the current construction of the highway in the southwest area is in full swing in progress. Unlike the coastal and inland plains, highway construction has its own characteristics in the southwestern mountainous area,engineers are faced with more complex climate, hydrology, geology and other new issues, soft treatment is one of which more representative of the engineering problems.Firstly, based on the construction of the Guizhou Expressway treatment of soft soil foundation for extensive research and data collection, the features of soft soil foundation is summarized, the soft deformation characteristics on ZUN-BI Highway in Guizhou Province is analyzed under the construction, and CFG pile-net composite foundation to deal with the region of soft soil foundation is proposed; Secondly, for the CFG pile net composite foundation structure, classification, function and strengthening mechanism of pile, net, cushion in the pile net composite foundation is specifically addressed, then the load transfer in the process of soil arching and tensioned membrane effect is focuses on. Thirdly, based on the previous design, the CFG pile composite foundation reinforced cushion calculation,composite foundation bearing capacity, settlement calculation are summarized, analyzed and modified, then two amendments to the formula is proposed. Finally, according to the characteristics of highway, in order to control settlement as the core of the design ideas and in accordance with the revised design as the standard formula to determine the parameters of CFG to meet the design specifications, then relying on soft foundation in ZUN-BI Highway Eighth Contract Section computing as an engineering design examples and finite element analysis.CFG pile net composite foundation has the characteristics of Settlement Deformation, post settlement easier to control, low construction cost, While designers can flexibly adjust the parameters to meet the pile bearing capacity and settlement. Currently, CFG pile net composite foundation of design theory is far behind the engineering practice. Therefore, strengthening the research design are more conducive to CFG pile net composite foundation design, construction and testing. it has greater space for development in the southwest inland highway of soft ground.
