Aviation Vapor Core Pump is mainly applied in aviation engine afterburner system fuel pumps, also applied in main fuel systems. At present, many testing methods on vapor core pump flow field research were realized, but the gas-liquid two-phase flow numerical simulation had never been carried on. Adopt CFD technology for flow field calculation and numerical simulation of vapor core pump is a new way for vapor core pump research.Based on gas-liquid two-phase flow theory and computational fluid theory, the thesis studied fundamental principle of vapor core pump. The main structure dimension of a new vapor core pump was designed and calculated according to aviation power design manual and design technology requirements. Impeller area and volute chamber flow channel was modeled by CAD software, and the model was mashing by Gambit software, on this basis, Fluent solver was used to carry on numerical simulation of pump flow field by two steps. First, to obtain the pressure distribution rule, speed distribution rule and vapor core formation rule through various working condition constant calculation for impeller area flow field; secondly, extended the numerical calculation to the flow field of whole pump and compare numerical simulation results of two kinds of volute chambers, and then established a more superior structure through the analysis results. Numerical simulation of this thesis proved that adopting CFD technology to research vapor core pump is feasible.
