The GeYuan Garden is one of the several gardens in china that take the bamboo as its main plant, so it's a key role to research the landscape of GeYuan garden to resolve the problems mentioned above.The essay was divided into four parts. The first part was about the general idea about the plant application in the landscape design of garden including the western and eastern, also the royal and personal, which reflect the combination of art and practice. The general idea about the plant application in the landscape is the core in the domain.The second part includes two aspects. The first see the comparison and analogy between the eastern and western garden making, through which can get the essence about landscape design of the plant bamboos. The other aspect was about the plant of bamboo in the landscape design, which included the variety of the bamboo, and its art idea and meaning creativity.The third part took the case study of GeYuan garden, analyzing the bamboo application in history, finding out its background in design, and the variety and application of the bamboos used in the garden. The writer also give advices of landscape design about the Baizhu garden in the northern district, hoping to make the bamboos application better.
