Deployable truss structure has been widely used in the astronautic business. With the development of astronautic space technology, deployable truss structure also develops to large-scale and complicated way. The extendible support structure is key technology for the 15 meters planar satellite antenna which we are preparing. Therefore this paper which study the configuration innovative design method , and designs & analyses the extendible support structure for planar antenna, has vital significance to upgrade our astronautic space technology and high precision earth observation. The paper, which combines the key project of National Natural Science Fund, studies the kinematic synthetical method of deployable truss structure and the extendible support structure of planar antenna.The unit of deployable truss structure is divided into three classes. Based on the mathematical tool of graph theory, a set establish method of structural graphs of spatial stable truss structure is presented. The matrices of deployable truss units is established. Then, using the ideology of embryo graph synthesis method, a set of configuration synthesis method of deployable truss structural element which based on graph of stable truss structure is given.Detecting isomorphism of deployable truss structures is discussed in this paper. Then a more effective method which indentify isomorphism of deployable truss structures is established, and based on the method, all the eleven pyramid units'graphs whose folded state is planar are getted.The comprehensive deployable truss structural units is applied to the extendible support structure of planar satellite antenna in this work. For the demand of extendible support structure of planar antenna,three kinds of schemes are presented. And modal analysis of two modules is carried out using finite element method. Choosing the mass of extendible support structure as objective function and first-order natural frequency as constraint conditions, the parameters of extendible support structure are optimized. After that the method which can reduce mass and increase first-order natural frequency is given.Based on previous studies, the extendible support structure of planar antenna is designed carefully. The deployable performance of extendible support structure is verified by kinematics simulation, and the kinematics parameter curves of the key components are measured.
