Residual current protection is an important feature for the security and stability of thepower system. Typically, this was achieved through the application of this feature in theswitching devices. Thereby, it is producing many types of residual current circuit breaker,residual current operated relay. For the low voltage switching devices which containing thefeature of residual current protection,the verification of the operating characteristic underresidual current conditions is one of the very important items among all the product quality test.The interface and Operational processes of the tradional test equipment is very complicated, theregulation of the experimental parameters and the recording of the data are all done by hand.The level of intelligence is verylow, the reliability is not high, requirements of the testor is veryhigh.And, all the residual current test items cannot be finished using one test equipment.To change this situation, considering the cost and feasibility factors such as device can bechoosed, this paper gives a new design of the residual current test equipment, proposed a newmethod of current regulation. It was verified by the computer simulation test, using isolation forequipotential, getting a kind of digital current regulation equipment. And as a basis fordesigning and selecting of the hardwares, the same time finished the corresponding softwarearchitecture design. Simulated and designed out of the AC electronic switch. As the keycomponents of the digital current regulation equipment, it has an indispensable role in theachieving of digital current regulating.AC electronic switch realised the digital on-off control of the alternating current, greatlyincreased the speed of controling, solid-state relay has been widely used. The digital currentregulating method gived in this paper can worked in diferent models by using different designand devices selection, achieving a broader range of AC current regulation. I believe thisapproach will have very broad application prospects.
