Developing huge interconnected grid is the common experience of world grid development.Cross-region interconnection,cross-border interconnection is the inevitable trend of the grid development.AGC is an indispensable technology to guarantee of Tie-line power plan for interconnected network.It has great meaning research on AGC control strategy for provincial network.The development of automatic generation control(AGC) have been discussed in this paper at beagging.Frequency of I, II and III adjustment in power system has been studied,Also,the principle of outer region temporary support due to allied system loading variation and its process have been exploited. Besides, this paper has studied on the principle of generator working, load fluctuation and interconnection grid power support when all types of control strategy interworking.With the introduction of power balance,the problems that exist now in power dispatching technology and its reason have been investigated in the paper.In considering the rating results of control performance standard (CPS) and profits maximization for power company, the real-time dispatching mode was put forward, which differentiates the mode that aims at merely economy, energy-saving and energy-loss reduction. Go on research on the ultra-short term real-time balanced dispatching mode on the basis of that maximum reserve capacity is target value, and compare of the modle with before control strategy, use one day historical data simulation of Chongqing power grid, get CPS value.The control quality improve obviously,proves the mode's correctness.With introduction of the principle of Predictor-Corrector Primal-Dual Interior Point Method,bring forward a optimization AGC model aim at minimize unit control expense.Meet every constraints first,then use categorization schemes take different adjustment-Performance unit participate in power control.Research on improvement Interior Point Method's Transformation, formulating and solution.Finally,take ChongQing power-network for examole,use Matlab to Simulation PCPDIPM.By comparison different numbe of units participated in work, found that Increase hydraulic generator numbers can effectively reduce control expense,improve CPS percent of pass.Comparison validate of A,B and C control expense model proposed by author, we can see the latter one have low frequence fluctuationg,least control cost and top CPS percent of pass.
