As environmental issues become more prominent and the further implementation of energy saving strategies, Dealing with dust issues of air pollution is an urgent need. The traditional electrostatic precipitator have been insufficient to meet the new environmental requirements for its too low efficiency, too slow dynamic response, low power factor and other shortcomings. In the dust field, High-frequency electrostatic precipitator power supply to replace the traditional power supply is a trend.Firstly, the paper determine the use of series resonant circuit as the main topology of electrostatic precipitator power supply, deduce the mathematical expression of the key parameter through detailed theoretical analysis, point out the circuit with a constant current source and strong resistance of short-circuit characteristics. Depending on the application, the paper also analysis the series-parallel resonant circuit, deduce the mathematical expression of the key parameter, provide a theoretical basis for the future design and control.High-frequency power transformer is an important component of electrostatic precipitator power supply. The paper presents the key steps of high-frequency transformer design, research the distribution parameters of the transformer and its effect on the power supply, finally, put forward a method to reduce the effects that the distributed capacitance binging in.For the load resistance is changing during the dusting, the control of power supply is essential. during different conditions, the paper analyzes three common methods which are the spark rate control, the highest average voltage control and the spark intensity control. Then, Based on the anti-corona phenomenon caused by the high-prone load resistance, the paper presents intermittent control., simulated each control method and point out the characteristics of each control.Finally, based on theoretical analysis and simulation, the paper designed every part of high-frequency electrostatic precipitator power supply, built a prototype instrument and made experiment research. The results show that, high frequency power supply for electrostatic precipitator works in good steady-state, the experiment is the same as the theoretical analysis and simulation.
