Because of the special work condition and complicated structure, helicopters will face lots of unsuspected risks in flight, especially for transmission train, as one of the main components and the only channel which can't be redundancy for power transmission, its failure will probably lead to immeasurable loss. Therefore, it is particularly important to carry out the work of fault diagnosis and health management aimed at transmission train in order to perceive potential threats timely.Funded by the Ministerial-level Project"Research of state real-time monitoring and fault prognosis technology of XX"and Project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China"Research of theory and method about Model-driven damage detection and prognosis of planetary gear set of helicopter transmission system", etc. this thesis design and build fault diagnosis and health management system of helicopter transmission, for the aim of providing protection for the safe use and performance playing of helicopter. The main contents include:1. Research of the related theories and techniques about fault diagnosis and health management(1) Research and analyze failure modes and mechanisms of evolution of bearing which is one of key components of equipment, and simulate the fault of bearing main components in order to provide theoretical principle for the follow-up fault diagnosis algorithm;(2) Research signal feature extraction method based on KPCA (kernel principal component analysis), use simulation data to validate the effect of dimension reduction of this method and employ bearing experimental data to further illustrate its practical application to establish theoretical basis for the software design of system;(3) Study novelty detection method based on artificial immunity to solve the problem such as helicopter fault detection that lacking prior knowledge and fault signals are difficult to obtain. A detector generation method based on multi-detector is proposed to improve the real-valued negative selection algorithm of artificial immunity. Laboratorial data of bearing are used to test the availability and practicability of the method mentioned above.2. Construct fault diagnosis and health management system for helicopter transmission train (1) Design the architectural structures of fault diagnosis and health management system for helicopter transmission train;(2) Build the hardware platform of fault diagnosis and health management system for helicopter transmission train;(3) Design related software of fault diagnosis and health management system for helicopter transmission train which integrated the related techniques of health management studied in this dissertation. A validation combined with the hardware platform to the system is also involved.
