Aqueduct belongs to canal structures functions as the crossing structure, has a wide application in transporting water in irrigating, delivering urban domestic and industrial water, transferring inter-basin water, Releasing and diverting water. Most of contemporary aqueducts was made in concrete, and it's development trend is the long span type. At present, aqueduct is the main structure to adjust the water distribution, guarantee the supply for the domestic water in large and medium size cities .Aqueduct is prone to be affected in the construction period, so as to cause the cracks in the aqueduct body and water leakage, because of its mass concrete thin-wall structure. Above phenomenon has a bad effect in its function and local economical development. This paper based on the previous research results and experience, concluding and studying the forming mechanism of cracks and the corresponding crack-resistance measure through the test of the resemblance physical model. Simultaneously, adopting the numerical simulation to imitate the influence of the affecting factors to the aqueduct body in the construction period, study the effect of different crack-resistance measure under the same conditions, which can provide a scientific basis for the design of the aqueduct. Also concluding the crack-resistance measures of the aqueduct under the different conditions, and according to that to optimize the measures.
