Now the converter is widely used in almost every industry. While when we enjoy their convenience, we had to commit the harmful effect due to we note proliferation of power electronic equipment. And as the result, amounts of the harmonic current are injected into the grid. At the same time, more sophisticated equipments on the grid have more stringent requirements. That making us has to take seriously on the gird current harmonic distortion.In this paper, based on the advantages and disadvantages for existing solutions, a new type of converter is proposed through theoretical analysis and research. It combines the functions of active filter and unity power factor rectifier. Thus, on the one hand, it can make sure that the harmonic injected into the grid is low. And on the other hand can compensate the harmonic produced by the electrical equipment nearby, at last improving the quality of power supply.During the design of this integrated controller, there are many factors should be considered. Including signal synthesis problem, synchronization issues and so on. In this paper, I take the research of feasibility as start, and mainly analysis the reactive power generation capacity, the capacity of the inverter, DC bus voltage, capacitance and inductance, IGBT switching devices. According to the analysis of electrical parameters and the overall structure of the system analysis, on the premise of the switching function's mathematical model, a new type of controller mathematical model is proposed, which is based on the unity power factor rectifier, and combines the harmonic compensation function. The control strategy of instantaneous harmonic current compensation is used in this program, and analysis all the aspects in the control circuit. Especially those special requirements for this integrated controller, for example the DC link voltage control.The control of DC voltage is realized with application of variable gain PI controller. It ensures high dynamics in transient states and low gain for steady state oscillations of DC voltage.At last, simulation results made by MATLAB/Simulink, the results strongly verify the theoretical analysis .Lay the foundation for the practice.
