The rapid development of hypersonic vehicles makes more stringent requirements of cooling of the entire aircraft. By its unique advantages, active regenerative cooling method is the most attractive cooling method for hypersonic vehicles. This cooling method increases energy efficiency, and will not bring extra quality punishment, also it will not reduce the vehicle's overall performance. Because of its inherent weaknesses, liquid hydrogen fuel can not be as the coolant of hypersonic vehicle. Using endothermic hydrocarbon fuel which has both physical heat sink and chemical heat sink as the coolant of hypersonic vehicles is an effective way to improve the performance of hypersonic vehicles. But the coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuel in the cooling channels is the key problem to develop hypersonic aircraft. It is very important to do research on coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuel in cooling channel for the development of hypersonic vehicles.In this paper, experimental research and numerical simulation are carried out about coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuel in a single cooling channel of scramjet under supercritical conditions. We analyze the thickness of coke in cooling channel and coke deposition along the length of the cooling channel under different conditions. Then coke deposition at the Specific location of the cooling channel is simulated. As you can see, we can provide data support and experience base for the research of coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuel in cooling channel.First, we establish the test bed of coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuels in the pipe under supercritical conditions, and the test bed is constantly be modified and improved, the experimental accuracy has been greatly improved. In order to do quantitative analysis of coke deposition, the evaluation test bed of coke deposition has been established.Secondly, coke deposition within a single cooling channel of scramjet under different conditions has been experimentally studied. For the actual situation, the cold flow rate of hydrocarbon fuels which are 1.7m / s and 1.28m / s in a tube has been experimental studied. We get coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuel within the tube at different flow rates. Coke deposition of different fuels in a tube has been experimental studied. Then we obtain coke deposition of the two types of fuel in the tube and along the length of the tube. Coke deposition of hydrocarbon fuel in tube of different materials has been experimental studied. We obtain coke deposition in different material tubes. Finally, coke deposition at the Specific location within a single cooling channel of scramjet is simulated. We do research on coke deposition of different cooling channel diameter, different coke particle diameter, particle velocity at specific location of cooling channel.
