The heat exchanger is an indispensable component in industrial fields. According to the statistics, the tonnage of heat exchanger occupies 20%~30% of the total technical equipment, its importance speaks for itself. At present, it is urgent to make the heat exchanger develop toward smaller and lighter, high heat transfer efficiency and less resistance loss in practical applications. Thereby, it has realistic significance to research and explore new models of heat exchanger.Panel type radiator is the mainstream of transformer, it has a wide range of applications in cooling the large-scale equipments as its low price and high heat transfer efficiency. As the development of electric power, lots of large transformers plough into use, the usage of panel type radiator is becoming larger and larger. Research on heat transfer enhanced of panel type radiator relates to energy, materials, space and many other aspects. As the number is huge, no matter which aspect has tiny change, it will have great economical benefits.Study on heat transfer enhanced of panel type radiator has never stopped. The innovation of this paper is researching the panel type radiator in totally different way. Analyze the impacts of heat transfer with different flow distribution. The flow rate is inconsistent with the cooling environment between panels and channels in practical model. Heat transfer will change as the flow distribution has changed, based on this theory, building a lot of new models with different configuration and dimension, then calculate them by using numerical simulation method, the results of numerical simulation show that comparing with the common models, the new models can achieve different purposes such as heat transfer enhanced, resistance loss reduced, space and material saving by adjust to the flow distribution, thereby increase the overall heat transfer capability of panel type radiator. Find out the way to adjust flow distribution and summarize the rules between flow distribution, heat transfer and resistance loss by comparing different models, at last give suggests for configuration improving of panel type radiator.
