The natural wind changes lead to the randomness, waviness and intermittence of power outputs of wind farm, which would affect frequency control with wind power integrated. As a result, the study of frequency control with wind power has urgency and practical significance. On this background, this paper studies improving method of AGC system with wind power integrated, which is aim to offer a new idea for frequency control with wind power disturbence.At first, this paper briefly introduces the development survey of wind power, describes the influence of integration of wind power generation, especially the frequency control after wind power integrated. After that this paper also explains the necessity of studying the method to weaken the influence of wind power disturbance to LFC.Secondly,this paper analyzes output characteristic of wind farm and its influence to power balance, which results in the power system frequency out of scope in the standards. So it is necessary to improve the conventional frequency control method.Thirdly,deviation values between actual wind power and estimated wind power, between actual conventional power and scheduled conventional power are introduce into conventional ACE signal to improve frequency control effect with wind power integrated. A novel ACE model is built considering wind power integrated.Fourthly, a fuzzy-PI controller, which can adaptively regulate its parameters according to operation states of power system, is designed to improve the performance of AGC system.Finally, frequency control effects of conventional AGC system and improved AGC system are contrasted by simulation study of one-area, two-area system, which proved better frequency control performance of improved AGC system with different range of wind power disturbance.
