The analysis of mode and frequency response function(FRF) for satellite structure is an important way to realize its structural characteristic and the mode shape, and would be an academic reference for the structural optimization and the design of vibration attenuation for the satellite. In practice, there are multifarious satellite structures while there are kinds of analytical aims including the analysis and of mode and FRF and the analysis of vibration route, so a self-contained methodology is quite requisite. Based on this reality, this thesis presents a methodology of the analysis of mode and frequency response function for multifarious satellite structure against a background of the work of某卫星satellite structure. The studies includes in this thesis are as follows:1. At first ,the thesis sums up the main evolvement on the domain of structural dynamics analysis, such as modeling using finite element method(FEM),frequency response analysis and substructure synthesis. Then, this thesis presents a methodology which contains modeling and modal analysis using FEM and state space theory, substructure synthesis with mode and FRF data for multifarious satellite structure.2. Based on the state space theory and formula derivation, this thesis presents a methodology for satellite structure, which includes the process of modeling a state space model, mode reduction via DC gain of each mode and frequency response function. By all appearances, this methodology simplifies the analytical process.3. The frequency response function between two degrees of free (DOF) is only crucial by the mode frequency, mode damp ,the mode shape of the input and the output DOFs of the satellite structure.4. The FRF between two DOFs on different substructures, which are joined by rigid joint, is only crucial by the FRFs between the input DOF and the interfacial DOFs, the inter-FRFs of the interfacial DOFs and the FRFs between the interfacial DOFs and the output DOF; If the substructures are joined via elastic media, the inter-FRFs of the interfacial DOFs should be substituted by the FRFs of the media interfacial DOFs.In this thesis, the analysis of modal and frequency response function is carried out which offers theoretical reference for other analysis, and a methodology of the analysis of modal and frequency response function for multifarious satellite structure is proposed. Consequently, this methodology would be of great theoretical and piratical value and be broadly used.
