It is a sustainable policy in the civil engineerings to utilize the underground space and exploit the potentiality of the land resource and save the energy. The deep excavation engineering is the main construction activities when developing the underground space of city, and it is the desired destination to use the safe and economic foundation bracing system.The geological conditions have specialities in the west of Guangdong Province, and this thesis studied the key technologies of deep excavation row piles and arch ring bracing system in design and construction activities based on the FEM simulation and spot mornitoring. This paper firstly introduced the development situation of deep excavation engineering and the bracing system, then illustrated the foundation pit support kind. According to the characteristics of the deep foundation pit, the schedule of foundation pit support was designed and the calculation theory and technical measures of row pit combined with arch ring as support system was analyzed. Based on the deep foundation pit engineering located in the west of Guangdong Province, the designed schedule was simulated by MIDAS program, and the surface settlement of soil around the foundation pit and deformation of row pit and bending monment were discussed. In the end, the construction mornitoring of deep foundation pit during the excavation was analyzed, and it showed that there had a little surface settlement and lateral displacement which became stable in the later stage of construction, the groundwater table reduced about 20cm and the ultimate carrying capacity of single pile reached 1600kN, which met the requirements of engineering.
