Study On Thermodynamic Property And Aerodynamic Performance Of Real Gas In Centrifugal Compressor

With the advantages of small size, high pressure, high efficiency, Centrifugal compressors are widely used in the areas of energy, chemical and aerodynamics etc. The real-time online test is becoming a focus of centrifugal compressor experiment.The principles and calculating methods of thermodynamic and performance parameters were derived for the real gas medium, monomeric and mixture. Based on LabVIEW system, the software"the calculation system of real gas properties"and"the online inspection system of centrifugal compressor operating performance"were developed. In the former, L-K equation was used to calculate the thermodynamic parameters, and the accuracy was improved. In the latter, the important parameters like polytropic efficiency, shaft power and total pressure ratio etc are calculated accurately to indicate the working performance of compressor. Compressor performance parameters are shown in the form of curves. The test results shown, the systems are accurate and suitable to be applied to engineering requirements.The computing system was developed and used to calculate the thermodynamic properties of real gas and the aerodynamic performance of centrifugal compressor. It's hoped to be able to improve the work efficiency of impeller machinery.
