Electro-hydraulic servo valve is the core element of the Electro-hydraulic servocontrol system. The performance of the Electro-hydraulic servo valve influences theelectro-hydraulic servo system performance directly. The Electro-hydraulic servo valvehas many advantages, such as, small size, Power high magnification, fast response and soon. The Spool valve is most widely used in hydraulic amplifier components. The paperbases on Φ8diameter Electro-hydraulic servo valve and primary analysis the spool valveof the Electro-hydraulic servo valve.Nowadays, with the application of computer technology and the rapid developmentof numerical computing technology, it becomes more and more effective to use thenumerical calculation method to research the flow field distribution of the hydraulicsystem and the hydraulic components. This paper makes a better deep research on flowfield distribution, Steady-state fluid power, radial force, temperature field and thermaldeformation of spool valve of Φ8diameter Electro-hydraulic servo valve in differentconditions by using numerical simulation and theoretical analysis together.Firstly, the flow field of spool valve of Φ8diameter Electro-hydraulic servo valve indifferent conditions is simulated with computational fluid dynamics (called CFD for short)simulation software, we can know the work pressure and temperature on the flow fieldeffect by comparative analysis. Secondly, we get the date of the steady-state fluid powerby numerical simulation, and compare it with the theoretical calculation data. Thirdly, weget the radial force from the valve rod by numerical simulation, and analyze thephenomenon of the hydraulic lock. Finally, the temperature field and thermal deformationof spool valve is simulated with finite element analysis (called FEA for short) simulationsoftware, we analyze the clearance between spool and valve pocket after thermaldeformation.
