An experimental study is carried out in this paper for exploiting a falling film evaporator with process simulation by computer and data collection and the ability of control. And then the experimental study is carried out for enhancement of falling film evaporation heat transfer of pure water on vertical smooth tube under atmospheric pressure. We had discussed the proportion of this falling film evaporation and determined the heat transfer coefficients in different experimental condition. Such as changed the volume of the pure water and altered the heat condition of the mail heater. At the same time in miner of stydying the impact of operate condition to evaporator heat transfer, we find the way to enhance the heat transfer of this evaporator. And we can use these measures to guide the process of falling film in industrial conditions.In this paper, in order to pick the appropriate liquid distributor, two different kinds of liquid distributor were compared. The verrer one was singled out because it makes the liquid well-distributed in the tube of the evaporation. Of course, we also researched how the liquid flow and heationg conditions influence the heat transfer. The experimental results show that the best range of the liquid volume is around 6.0L/h. In this range of the liquid volume we could get the highest heat transfer coefficients and obtain the best effect of the evaporator.Finally, after compared the result of different experimental condition, we suggested that the low volume of liquid is better than the high volume of liquid if the demand of the finished liquid's consistency is very low.
