Pipelines of acrossing roads occupy a large proportion in the long-distance pipelines. With the rapid development of the economy, our country need more and more energy, so, we need to construct more and more oil and gas pipelines to support the development of economy. Many pipes are buried in soft soil foundation because of the actual geological conditions. One of the main live loads press underground pipelines is the traffic load. With the rapid development of the economy and the transportation industry, the traffic load causing more and more problems, such as the failure and damage of underground pipelines. Such as the lifeline projects "West-East gas pipleline", "Sichuan-East natural gas transmission project".Once happen such incidents, the consequence is quite serious. In view of this, In this paper the traffic load of the underground pipes'mechanics were analyzed and simulated. In this paper, based on the previous research at home and abroad,we made the following several aspects of work:(1) Using the method of theoretical analysis to analys the statics problems and dynamic response problems of buried pipelines. Simplified the long-term vehicle loads which presses on the oil and gas pipelines. Namely:from a long-term perspective, the uniform traffic load incessantly press on the pavement. Therefore, the size and action position of vehicle load are not change over time.(2) Analysis the dissemination rule of the wave which caused by the traffic load. The dispersion characteristics of Rayleigh wave which casued by the traffic load and the dispersion characteristics of Rayleigh wave which caused by the conventional loads are the same. However, the directions of propagation are different(3) Research the problem of the tube-soil coupling based on the view of long-term traffic load. The tube-soil interaction combination model is given.(4) By using numerical simulation and numerical examples validate techniques, and establishing the finite element model, On may cause conduit to destroy the pipes, all the factors are analyzed, and concluded.(5) By using fuzzy theory to analyse the reliability of pipelines under traffic loads.
