Combining with the practical situation of payingoff for extra high voltage (EHV) and ultra high voltage (UHV) overhead transmission lines in China, payingoff methods for 220kV and above overhead transmission lines are studied in the thesis. The thesis mainly focuses on the process, methods, instruments preparation and theoretical arithmetic of payingoff, and elementally analyzes some special methods, which comprehensively studies and summarizes the payingoff methods for EHV and UHV overhead transmission lines in our country nowadays.This thesis is divided into six chapters and the structure is as follows:Chapter 1 is introduction, showing the meaning and basic approach of the research; Chapter 2 introduces basic methods and process of tension payingoff, also extracting and summarizing arithmetic of payingoff; Chapter 3 introduces the whole process of tension payingoff in detail, and presents airship payingoff, helicopter payingoff and divide the rope to cross steel tower technique; Chapter 4 gives an introduction on how to choose and use instruments of tension payingoff; Chapter 5 introduces the characters and methods of payingoff in special lines; Chapter 6 is a conclusion, which gives the main contribution of this thesis.The thesis studies the payingoff methods for 220kV and above overhead transmission lines, and summarizes the payingoff methods for overhead transmission lines, combining with the author's construction experience and approaches for special lines. Through the research of the project, it is hoped to comprehensively summarize the payingoff technology and methods for EHV and UHV overhead transmission lines so as to further guide practical construction, and provide direction and reference for payingoff in future.
