Sound as the most effective physical means of long-range underwater detection and communication. Currently international and domestic has developed a variety of sonar equipment (such as side-scan sonar, synthetic aperture sonar, self-propelled variable depth sonar, etc.) for detecting underwater targets. Therefore seek countermeasures to take effective measures in order to improve the performance of underwater acoustic stealth goal have become imperative.The main work:aimed at the performance and sound absorption properties of some kind of material, and used the reflection coefficient of planar multi-layer structure, calculated the sound reflection coefficient of different materials, which coating some outer coating, and simulated and analyzed the reflection of coefficient simulation, by genetic algorithm, the absorption optimized the coating parameters under different conditions, then the choice method of material parameters has been chalk up. By comparing experimental in tank, the coating backing board in a different reflection coefficient is analyzed and found broadly in line with the theoretical results to verify the correctness of the theory.
