The low-frequency noise extensively exist in airplane room, car room and factory room, traditional methods can not control it availably, active noise control can control it effectively. Therefore, research on active noise control is meaningful.Firstly, analyzed the principle of active noise control. Deduced the least mean square(LMS) algorithm. In frees pace, control target set as local control, explains the influence of the different locations of speaker and microphone on noise control effect. Then, deduced the filter-X least mean square(FXLMS) algorithm which based on active noise control. Simulated the algorithm, respectively compared the performance of FXLMS from different parameters, such as, the length of filter, the coefficient of convergence, the delay time of different passageways. And the same time, simulated the fast FXLMS algorithm and other algorithms, summary the faults and advantages of all algorithms. Finally, in approximate free space, control target set as local control, designed and built an active noise control system. Conclusions are as follows:in area of area 300mmx200mm get 3-8dB reduction under the action of single channel system, in area of 300mmx1000mm area get 2-7dB reduction under the action of multi-channel system. Compares the different adaptive filter algorithm based on the single channel experiment. Though analyzing the results of the single channel and multi-channel experiment, explains the different the between simulation and experiment.
