The ship repair business has been greatly development after several decades of development. Ship repair and conversion has been from the subordinate status of shipbuilding production rose to an important pillar of socio-economic development. In the thesis, it studies the structural deformation analysis techniques based on a large ship conversion work. The main contents are as follows,Firstly, study on the main reasons of the hull structure's deformation, while classifies the deformation of the structure, and gives the control program for the structural deformation.Secondly, analysis on the variety of forms of damage on the hull, such as leakage, sinking, spinal bend, crack, corrosion, broken hole, break and gives the repair process.Lastly, study on the control techniques of structural deformation, such as the choose and decide of ship repair scheme, sub-installation sequence when erection and risk response plan when meeting deformation.It is very important to help shipping engineer to decide the reasonable plan of ship repair and conversion by studying on the damage forms and structure deformations when ship repaired.
